DESCRIPTION

MC12FD680J-F is a multilayer RF mica chip capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications. It features a capacitance of 68 pF with ±5% tolerance and a rated voltage of 500 Vdc, housed in a 1210 case size with dimensions of 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm and a maximum height of 2.0 mm. The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and utilizes a natural mica dielectric that maintains high-Q performance at UHF/VHF frequencies with a dV/dt rating of 20,000 V/µs. Its rugged construction is free from thermal cracking and compatible with FR4 boards, exceeding the 2 mm bend test. Common applications include MRI coils and generators, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and mobile radio systems.
