DESCRIPTION

DME4S1K-F is a Type DME metallized polyester film capacitor with radial leads designed for DC applications in miniature form factor. This capacitor features a capacitance range of 0.01–10 µF with ±10% tolerance (K standard), rated for 100–1000 Vdc operation, and operates reliably across -55°C to +125°C (with 50% voltage derating above 85°C). The device incorporates self-healing technology to address shorts caused by overvoltage transients, delivering performance comparable to capacitors twice its physical size through advanced thin-film dielectric technology. Typical applications include compact DC power supplies, signal filtering, and general-purpose energy storage in space-constrained electronic equipment where miniaturization and cost efficiency are priorities.
