A82-10250 is a true RMS AC current metering transformer designed to convert AC current signals into standardized DC output for easy integration with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and monitoring relays. This model accepts an input current range of 0–250 AAC and provides a proportional 0–20 mADC source output in accordance with IEC 60381-1, with a tolerance of ±2% at 50 Hz. The transformer features a rated insulation voltage of 1000 VAC rms between input and output, a dielectric strength of 6 kVAC rms, and can withstand impulse voltages of 12 kV (1.2/50 µs), ensuring robust operation in industrial environments. It operates over a frequency range of 40 Hz to 1 kHz with a reaction time of less than 200 ms, and is housed in an ABS enclosure with IP 40 protection rated for operating temperatures from -20°C to +50°C. The A82-10250 is commonly used with monitoring relays (DIB01, PIB01, DIC01, PIC01) to establish multiple setpoints for current alarm signaling, and can be directly connected to PLC analog inputs for real-time current monitoring and control applications.
