The AWG28-14/G-1/300 is a grey ribbon cable designed for low-voltage signal and control applications requiring multiple parallel conductors. It features 14 conductors of 28 AWG tinned copper wire with a 1.0 mm pitch spacing, each with a 0.90 mm ±0.10 mm outer diameter and 0.26 mm minimum average jacket thickness. The cable is rated for 300V at 105°C operation with a UL-PVC jacket material (105°C 45P) and meets UL Style 2651-VW-1 specifications, including VW-1 horizontal flame test compliance. Key electrical characteristics include a dielectric strength of 2.0 kV at 60 Hz, conductor resistance of 237.25 O/km at 20°C, and insulation resistance of 100 MO/m minimum at 500V DC. The jacket exhibits excellent mechanical properties with tensile strength of 1,500 PSI before aging and 70% minimum retention after aging at 136°C for 168 hours, along with cold bend resistance at -10°C.
