DESCRIPTION

8428122622134 is an 812 series IDC socket connector designed for quick connect and disconnect applications using insulation displacement contact (IDC) technology. It features a 0.100" x 0.100" (2.54mm x 2.54mm) grid spacing and accommodates AWG 26/28 stranded or AWG 28/30 solid wire, terminating to 0.050" (1.27mm) flat ribbon cable. The connector offers selective gold plated contacts over nickel with beryllium copper or phosphor bronze contact material options, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. Electrical specifications include a 1 Amp current rating, 50 mO maximum contact resistance, and 500Vdc minimum dielectric withstanding voltage. This connector is MIL-C-83503, IEC603-13, and UL/CSA approved, making it suitable for OA equipment, computers, peripherals, testing equipment, and industrial control applications.
