DESCRIPTION

AC3MJ is an XLR 3-pole male connector designed for professional audio and entertainment interconnect applications. It features stamped contacts with nickel plating and a large jaws cable clamp rated for 6.5 mm to 8 mm cable outer diameter (0.255" to 0.314"), providing secure retention for larger diameter cables. The connector incorporates a thermoplastic shell with solder bucket connections and a leading first mate last break socket contact design for reliable signal transmission. The large cable clamp variant makes it ideal for installations requiring robust cable management with thicker gauge cables, commonly used in touring sound systems, fixed installations, and professional audio equipment where durability and secure cable retention are essential.
