DESCRIPTION

The AZ9731-1A-12DC1 is a 40 A mini-ISO automotive relay designed for high-current switching applications in vehicles and industrial systems. It features a 12 VDC nominal coil with 90 O coil resistance, quick-connect terminals, and a single-pole normally open (Form A) contact arrangement rated for 40 A at 75 VDC maximum with 630 W maximum switched power. The relay operates at a nominal coil voltage of 12 VDC (must operate at 7.8 VDC, maximum continuous 15.6 VDC) with a coil power dissipation of 0.68 W at pickup and 4.8 W maximum continuous at 20 °C. It exhibits fast switching with a maximum operate time of 7 ms and release time of 5 ms, operates reliably across -40 °C to +125 °C ambient temperature, and is sealed with epoxy and housed in a PBT polyester enclosure. The relay is ideal for automotive power distribution, motor control, and load switching where compact size, high current capacity, and reliability are essential.
