The 1898/5C-SL005 is a five-conductor control cable featuring 18 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors (16/30 strand count) with individual PVC insulation and an overall PVC jacket. The cable is constructed with 5 conductors cabled together at a minimum twist rate of 4.0 twists per foot, with color coding following Alpha Wire Color Code D (Black, Red, White, Green, Orange). It is rated for 300V RMS at 80°C per UL AWM/STYLE 2509 and meets CSA CMG FT4 and EU Low Voltage Directive requirements. The cable operates reliably over a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a maximum pull tension of 63 lbs.
