DESCRIPTION

646442-1 is a Z-PACK 2mm HM right angle female connector, Type D, designed for high-density backplane interconnect applications. This connector features 176 contacts arranged in 8 rows with center guiding and keying facility, and is end stackable without change of contact pitch. The housing is constructed from glass filled polyester and LCP material in gray color with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, while signal contacts are made of phosphor-bronze with 0.8µm gold over 1.3µm nickel plating. The connector supports daughtercard thickness ranging from 1.4mm to 4.3mm and mates with respective vertical male connectors. It is ideal for multi-user systems and backplane applications requiring reliable high-density signal connections.
