DESCRIPTION

6116353-2 is an inverted modular jack connector assembly designed for RJ45 signal applications with a 1x2 port matrix configuration and integrated LED indicator. The connector features dual grounding options with 4 PCB ground tabs and 8 panel ground tabs, along with a green LED indicator for status monitoring. It employs a right-angle PCB mount orientation with 8 positions and loaded contacts rated for 2 A maximum current, utilizing gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with nickel underplating and tin PCB termination. The housing is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic in black with a standard connector profile, operating reliably across -40°C to +85°C and meeting Cat 5 performance standards with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. This shielded connector with inverted latch-up orientation is ideal for network infrastructure, telecommunications equipment, and industrial control systems requiring robust signal transmission with visual status indication.
