DESCRIPTION

353937-1 is an AMPLIVAR short barrel oval contact terminal designed for magnet wire termination in cluster block applications. This tin plated phosphor bronze terminal accommodates magnet wire sizes from 0.77 to 2.13 mm² (1600-4200 CMA) and features a crimp width of 2.79 mm (0.110 inch) for the conductor and 3.81 mm (0.150 inch) for insulation. The terminal accepts insulation diameters ranging from 2.00 to 2.90 mm (0.080-0.114 inch) and can connect up to 2 copper magnet wires without stripping insulation. It requires an extra wide type D housing for proper installation. This terminal is commonly used in appliance applications where reliable magnet wire connections are essential.
