描述

The 2-34173-1 is a pre-insulated solderless terminal splice manufactured by TE Connectivity/AMP Brand for secure wire termination. This terminal features a stud size of M8 (5/16 inch) and accommodates wire sizes in the 12-10 AWG range (5,180-13,100 circular mills or 2.62 mm²). The terminal is color-coded yellow for easy identification and includes dimensional specifications: width (W) of 0.531 inches (13.49 mm), contact dimension (C) of 1.69 inches (11.89 mm), and maximum length (E) of 26.90 mm with an extended length (L) of 33.71 mm. The terminal incorporates serration or dimple features inside the barrel for exceptional contact and tensile strength, combined with special corrosion-resistant plating. It is suitable for applications ranging from control circuits to heavy-duty power wiring, offering reliable performance with UL, CSA, and Military approval.
