DESCRIPTION

HSC300R56J is a 300W aluminium housed wire wound power resistor from the TE Connectivity HS Series, designed for high power dissipation in a compact form factor. This resistor features a 0.56 ohm resistance value with ±5% tolerance, capable of dissipating 300W with heatsink or 75W without heatsink at 25°C. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 200°C and offers a maximum working voltage of 2500V DC or AC rms, with isolation voltage of 3600V and dielectric strength of 5600V AC peak. The aluminium housing enables rapid heat dissipation to a specified heat sink, with insulation resistance of 10,000MO minimum (dry). Common applications include power supplies, power generation, and traction and drives industries where reliable high-power resistive loads are required.
