DESCRIPTION

1-215079-2 is a Micro-MaTch female-on-board connector with top entry configuration designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. This connector features a 12-position size with 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact spacing and tin-plated contacts that provide gas tight connections with fretting corrosion resistance. The unique contact spring system with an additional positioning spring absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, ensuring reliable performance. It is suitable for mass termination of 28 AWG (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) ribbon cable and mates with male connectors including 215083, 338095+338096, 338095+338097, 215464, and 338728. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
