DESCRIPTION
3002430 is a Static Shielding Bag 1000 Series open-top design manufactured from a polyester, metal, and polyethylene laminate that provides electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for sensitive electronic components. The bag features a transparent construction with an aluminum shield layer and static dissipative coating on both interior and exterior surfaces, allowing electrostatic charges to be safely removed when grounded. Key technical characteristics include a thickness of 2.8 mils (0.071 mm), tensile strength of 4600 PSI (32 MPa), puncture resistance of 12 lbs (53 N), and ESD shielding performance of less than 10 nJ per ANSI/ESD STM11.31. The bag meets ANSI/ESD S20.20, ANSI/ESD S541, and ANSI/ESD S11.4 Level 3 standards, with static decay of less than 2 seconds and is RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
