DESCRIPTION

The AMN32111 is a passive infrared human detection sensor module with built-in amplification and digital output, specifically designed for slight motion detection applications. It features a quad-type pyroelectric element with four receptors that enable precise detection of small movements within its detection zone, with a maximum detection distance of 2.5 m (8.202 ft) in the horizontal plane. The sensor operates at a rated voltage of 3.0 V to 6.0 V DC, with a usable ambient temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, and is housed in a compact TO-5 metal package (9.8 mm × 9 mm). The digital output provides a comparator-based signal with a maximum output current of 100 µA, and includes a circuit stability time of 45 seconds maximum after power-on. This sensor is ideal for motion-activated lighting, security systems, and occupancy detection applications where sensitivity to subtle movements is required.
