DESCRIPTION
MLVC12V014C800 is a high-energy multilayer varistor from the BUSSMANN MLVC series engineered to absorb high-energy transient voltages and provide fast response protection for downstream circuits. This device features a working voltage of 14 Vdc with a varistor voltage of 10 V at 1 mA, delivering 0.4 J energy absorption and 150 A peak current capability at 8/20 µs pulse conditions. The component operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is available in the MLVC12 package (3.2 mm × 1.6 mm × 1.1 mm) with typical capacitance of 800 pF at 1 MHz.
