The HP517A601 is a high-quality synchronous motor-driven reset timer housed in the standard CYCL-FLEX® plug-in housing, designed for industrial timing applications. It offers 16 standard time ranges from 5 seconds to 60 hours with knob-adjustable setpoints, a calibrated 7.85-inch circumference dial with a red progress pointer displaying remaining time, and a pilot light indicating motor energization. The timer features a 15-terminal ABS molded housing (UL rated 94V-0) with high impact resistance, instantaneous contacts (9-10-C and 6-7-8) that operate directly with clutch application, and delayed contacts (4-3, 11-A, 4-5, 11-12) that operate at timeout. Operating specifications include 120V or 240V at 60 Hz with ±10% to -15% tolerance, motor burden of 2.45 VA at 120 VAC, clutch burden of 10.5 VA, and output ratings of 10 amps at 120 VAC or 5 amps at 240 VAC (resistive).
