DESCRIPTION
The 83842901 is a universal limit switch featuring a stepped adjustment roller lever with positive break operation, designed for reliable industrial automation and control applications. It incorporates a metal case with three cable entries and heads adjustable in 90° increments, with all heads protected by nitrile boot and/or ring. The switch operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C with a maximum operating force of 8 N and maximum total travel force of 15 N, achieving a mechanical life of 107 operations. It conforms to IEC/EN 60947-5-1 standards with IP66 degree of protection, single-pole configuration, and assigned working characteristics of AC15 240 V 0.75 A / 120 V 1.5 A for alternating current and DC13 250 V 0.11 A / 125 V 0.22 A for direct current. This limit switch is ideal for position sensing, machine safety interlocks, and process control systems requiring positive break contact operation and high reliability.
