DESCRIPTION
FSSL006NF-BLK is an outdoor loose tube OS2 single-mode fiber optic cable featuring 6 fibers, designed for outside plant (OSP) applications. The cable features a fiber core diameter of 8.2/125 µm with gel-filled subunit waterblocking and a GRP central strength member for enhanced durability. It offers maximum attenuation of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at 1550 nm, supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance up to 10,000 m at 1310 nm and 40,000 m at 1550 nm. The cable has a nominal outer diameter of 9.2 mm with a polyethylene jacket and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. Suitable for campus area networks, long haul, and backbone applications, this cable is rated for outdoor and burial environments per ANSI/ICEA S-87-640 compliance.
