DESCRIPTION

The E2KF10MC1 is a flat, unshielded capacitive proximity sensor designed for detecting both conductors and dielectrics. It features a fixed 10 mm sensing distance, operates on a 12 to 24 VDC power supply, and provides a normally open (NO), NPN open-collector output. With a slim 10 mm profile, this sensor is excellent for space-constrained installations and can be mounted directly onto metallic surfaces. The sensor has a response frequency of 100 Hz and includes reverse polarity and surge suppressor protection circuits for robust operation. Its ability to detect a wide range of materials makes it suitable for applications in packaging, material handling, and level detection.
