DESCRIPTION

The SCRN241R-F is a film-paper extended foil commutating capacitor specifically designed for SCR (silicon controlled rectifier) applications that demand high peak and RMS current capabilities. It features a capacitance of 1 µF, a peak voltage rating of 1500 Vpk, and a maximum RMS current handling of 60 A. This capacitor has a maximum VA rating of 1240 at 65 °C and is designed to operate reliably across a temperature range of –40 ºC to +80 ºC. Housed in a Type A case with a maximum height of 2.88 inches, it offers a long life expectancy of 40,000 hours, making it ideal for power semiconductor circuits, high-frequency filtering, and other pulsed power applications.
