DESCRIPTION

SCRN224R-F is a film-paper commutating capacitor designed for silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) applications requiring high peak and rms current capability. This capacitor features a 10 µF capacitance with a 600 Vpk rated voltage, housed in a Case A metal enclosure with 1/4 x 20 threaded stud terminals. It is rated for a maximum rms current of 60 A and a maximum VA rating of 4.25 VA, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and a life expectancy of 40,000 hours at full rated conditions. The SCRN224R-F conforms to EIA RS401 standards and is ideal for high-frequency and pulsed applications in power semiconductor circuits where high voltage and high current performance are essential.
