DESCRIPTION

The 24FD3770A-F is a Type MPF AC motor run capacitor rated at 70 µF and 370 Vac, designed for reliable alternating current applications. This oil-filled, metallized polypropylene capacitor features an aluminum case with environmentally safe dielectric fluid encapsulation and tin-plated steel terminals configured as 4-prong quick disconnect connectors for easy assembly. The capacitor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +70°C with a dissipation factor of 0.1% maximum at 60 Hz, and is internally protected with a pressure-sensitive interrupter for fail-safe operation. With a round case style 24 measuring 2.5 inches in diameter and 3.91 inches in height, this compact, lightweight unit is ideal for air conditioning, refrigeration, power factor correction, and motor applications where low dissipation factor and high capacitance density are essential.
