DESCRIPTION

2170256-1 is a 1x1 QSFP+ cage assembly with thru bezel designed for high-speed optical transceiver applications. The cage features a nickel silver construction with 0.25 mm thick material and copper alloy springs with nickel plating for reliable EMI shielding. It mates with QSFP MSA compatible transceivers and requires a minimum PC board thickness of 1.45 mm for single-sided or 2.2 mm for double-sided boards. The assembly includes 19 compliant pin holes and 38 signal pins with 0.8 mm pitch, with EMI springs fixed by laser welding. This cage assembly is ideal for data center networking, telecommunications, and high-speed data transmission applications requiring robust mechanical and electrical performance.
