DESCRIPTION

MLS173M020EB0C is a 17,000 µF aluminum electrolytic capacitor rated at 20 Vdc, designed for high-reliability applications requiring extended operating life at elevated temperatures. The capacitor features a stainless steel case with a near-hermetic welded seal, enabling operation across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with an expected operating life of 100 years. With a maximum ESR of 33 mO at 25°C and 27 mO at 85°C, it delivers a ripple current capability of 17.6 A at 85°C (120 Hz) and 19.5 A at 20 kHz, making it suitable for demanding power supply and filtering applications. The EB case code provides a 3.0-inch length with a typical weight of 92 g, and the capacitor is available with optional high-vibration (HV) or high-reliability (HR) enhancements for military and aerospace systems operating in harsh environments.
