DESCRIPTION

The 21FD3715A-F is a Type MPF AC motor run capacitor designed for reliable alternating current applications. It provides a capacitance of 15.0 µF with a ±10% tolerance and is rated for 370 Vac at 50/60 Hz. This oil-filled, metallized polypropylene capacitor is housed in a round aluminum case (2.38 inches high) and features a low dissipation factor of 0.1% maximum. It is internally protected with a pressure-sensitive interrupter for fail-safe operation and offers a service life objective of 60,000 hours. Common applications include AC motors, air conditioning and refrigeration systems, and power factor correction.
