DESCRIPTION

The FLX3_12 is a 12.0-inch flexible light pipe assembly from the 3mm Flexfire series. It consists of a fiber optic cable with a 1.5mm optical core and a 2.2mm polyethylene jacket, with core ends polished to 10 microns for optimal light transmission. This component requires a panel mounting hole of 0.171 inches and is compatible with various separately ordered lenses and LED mounts. The FLX3_12 is ideal for applications requiring flexible light transmission for status indication in complex electronic assemblies, and works best with narrow viewing angle, non-diffused LEDs with an output greater than 100mcd.
