DESCRIPTION

The SO63-5-01 is a one-piece shield terminator designed for terminating a cable shield to a ground lead. It consists of a transparent, radiation-crosslinked, heat-shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride sleeve containing a pre-fluxed Sn63 solder preform. This specific model comes with a preinstalled, uninsulated, nickel-plated braid strap with a minimum length of 150 mm. The integrated BiAlloy temperature indicator ring melts to confirm a correct soldering temperature has been reached, ensuring a reliable, inspectable, and strain-relieved connection. Suitable for cables with a maximum jacket outer diameter of 7.0 mm, this terminator is immersion resistant and meets the performance requirements of SAE-AS83519 and NAS 1747.
