DESCRIPTION

The SO63-3-9036-22CS2677 is an immersion-resistant SolderSleeve device engineered to provide a robust shield termination on cables. It features a heat-shrinkable, transparent blue modified polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve, a pre-fluxed Sn63 solder preform, and meltable thermoplastic sealing rings for environmental protection. This device includes a thermal indicator ring with a 221°C melt point for installation process control and comes with a pre-installed 22 AWG lead with a minimum length of 153 mm. With a minimum cable entry diameter of 4.30 mm, it is suitable for cables rated for at least 125°C with tin or silver-plated shields. When properly installed using a convection or infrared heating tool, the termination meets the performance requirements of SAE-AS-83519/2, making it ideal for applications requiring high-reliability, sealed connections.
