DESCRIPTION

The SO63-3-55-24-5 is a one-piece shield terminator designed for reliable shield-to-ground termination on cables with a maximum jacket outer diameter of 4.3 mm and a minimum shield outer diameter of 2.15 mm. It features a transparent, heat-shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride sleeve that provides encapsulation, strain relief, and inspection capability. This terminator includes a pre-fluxed Sn63 solder preform with RMA flux and a preinstalled 24 AWG green ground lead. The integrated BiAlloy temperature indicator melts to ensure a properly soldered connection has been achieved, enhancing process control. Rated for operation from -55°C to 150°C, this immersion-resistant component meets SAE-AS83519 performance requirements and is suitable for applications demanding robust environmental protection.
