DESCRIPTION

The S02-08-R is a one-piece SolderSleeve shield terminator designed for reliable shield-to-ground termination. It features a transparent, radiation-crosslinked, heat-shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve and a prefluxed Sn63 Pb37 solder preform with RMA flux. This model, qualified to SAE-AS83519, comes with a preinstalled 22 AWG ground lead and includes a thermochromic temperature indicator to visually confirm proper solder wetting temperature. The terminator operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and is suitable for cables with a maximum jacket outer diameter of 4.3 mm. Its immersion-resistant design provides encapsulation and strain relief, making it ideal for applications requiring robust environmental protection and inspectable connections.
