DESCRIPTION

The ATUM-12/4-0-50MM is a flexible, adhesive-lined heat-shrinkable tubing designed to provide robust environmental sealing for a wide variety of electrical applications. It features a 3:1 shrink ratio, shrinking from a minimum supplied inside diameter of 12 mm to a maximum recovered diameter of 4 mm upon heating. The tubing operates continuously in temperatures from –55°C to 110°C and achieves full recovery at 125°C. When heated, its specially formulated adhesive melts and flows to form a moisture-proof seal that bonds to many plastics, rubbers, and metals. The high expansion ratio and flexibility make it ideal for sealing connector backshells, cable breakouts, and repairing damaged cables without removing connectors.
