DESCRIPTION

The D-500-L45D-2-613-240 is an ultra lightweight, in-line microcoupler featuring two stubs for use in MIL-STD-1553B data bus networks. This model is configured without a mounting eyelet and comes with a 240-inch (20 ft) Raychem 10613 24 AWG double optimized shield data bus cable. As part of the D-500-L4XX series, it offers the same high performance and reliability as standard microcouplers but with a significant weight reduction. The splice-terminated, low-profile design allows for flexible placement within wire bundles, and its potted circuit elements ensure maximum durability with an MTBF greater than 1,000,000 hours. This configuration is ideal for avionics systems and other aerospace and defense applications where weight savings, high packaging density, and robust performance up to 150°C are critical.
