DESCRIPTION

The D-436-0185 is a sealing cap used with parallel crimp splices to produce durable, environment-resistant stub splices. It is constructed from a heat-shrinkable, transparent blue, modified polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve and a clear, fluorocarbon-based thermoplastic sealing liner. The cap has a minimum received internal diameter of 4.8 mm, which recovers to a maximum of 2.41 mm after heating, and operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. These parts are ideal for applications requiring sealed connections in wires rated for at least +125°C.
