DESCRIPTION

The 061881-000 is a SolderShield cable splice kit used to create sealed, in-line connections for flexible data bus cables. This kit features a flux-coated, solder-impregnated copper shield braid encased in a transparent, heat-shrinkable insulation sleeve. This construction provides a controlled soldering process, encapsulation, strain relief, and insulation for the splice. The transparent sleeve allows for visual inspection of the connection, ensuring reliability in demanding applications such as MIL-STD-1553B networks.
