DESCRIPTION

The B4502N is an NGP (No Ground Plane) 1/2 Wave mobile load coil antenna designed for UHF communications in the 450–470 MHz frequency range. It delivers a tunable center frequency with 2.4 dBi gain and measures 31.8 cm (12.5 in.) in overall length with a 34-1/8" straight whip style. The antenna features a gold-plated contact for superior corrosion resistance and optimal power transfer, combined with an ABS injection-molded housing around solid brass inserts for durability and weather-tight sealing via an O-ring base. Stainless-steel shock spring options dampen vibration and resist rust, making this antenna ideal for demanding mobile radio applications in police cruisers, municipal vehicles, emergency services, and industrial vehicles where reliable communications and long service life are critical.
