DESCRIPTION

The 294259-E is a MicroCon 0.8 mm dual-row right-angle connector designed for demanding industrial, medical, lighting, automotive, and consumer applications. This miniaturized connector features reinforced sidewalls for robustness, double-sided spring contacts for reliable mating, and blind-mate guide alignment with coding for secure self-centering with up to 0.2 mm allowed misalignment tolerance. The connector supports 2 to 100 pins with SMT termination, tape and reel packaging for automatic assembly, and reflow soldering capability at 260 °C for 20–40 seconds. Key electrical characteristics include a current rating of 2.10 A per contact at 20 °C for the 50-pin version, contact resistance less than 35 mO, insulation resistance greater than 100 MO, and dielectric strength of 500 Vrms.
