DESCRIPTION
The 294028-E is a MicroCon dual-row 0.8 mm pitch connector designed for board-to-board interconnection in demanding industrial, medical, lighting, automotive, and consumer applications. It features SMT termination with tape and reel packaging for automatic assembly, supporting 12 to 100 pins with a current rating of up to 2.3 A per contact at 20°C and data rates up to 3 Gbit/s. The connector offers multiple configuration options including vertical male, right angle male, vertical female, and right angle female variants, with stacking heights ranging from 1 mm to 10 mm to accommodate various board-to-board spacing requirements. Key design advantages include dual-beam female contacts with low contact resistance, blind-mate guide alignment for secure mating, reinforced sidewalls for robustness, and polarization features to prevent mismating.
