DESCRIPTION

The 224397-E is a MiniBridge configurable cable assembly connector system designed for space-saving connections between PCBs and decentralized function units using 1.27 mm pitch technology. This IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) cable assembly supports ribbon cable AWG 26/7 and discrete wire options (AWG 22/7, AWG 24/7, AWG 26/7) with multiple connector orientations including straight and angled configurations. The system offers flexible insulation options including PVC (-30°C to +105°C unmoved, -20°C to +105°C moved), high-temperature TPE-ET (-60°C to +125°C unmoved, -40°C to +125°C moved), and halogen-free polyolefin (-40°C to +105°C unmoved, -20°C to +105°C moved). Key electrical characteristics include a maximum voltage rating of 300 V, dielectric strength of 1500–2000 Vrms depending on insulation type, and conductor resistance of 135–138 O/km. The connector features positive lock or friction lock options and is widely used in automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, and consumer electronics applications where reliable mating and space-efficient design are essential.
