DESCRIPTION

The FG1284-000 is a 15 kV, 200A loadbreak elbow designed to terminate underground cables onto high-voltage apparatus such as transformers and switchgear. Constructed from peroxide-cured EPDM rubber, this fully shielded and submersible elbow features a capacitive test point and conforms to IEEE Standard 386. It is designed for use on extruded (XLPE or EPR) solid dielectric cables with aluminum or copper conductors ranging from #2 AWG to 250 kcmil. The elbow allows for loadmake/break operations with standard hotstick tools, providing a reliable connection for underground power distribution systems.
