DESCRIPTION

M83723/89H1005N is a MIL-C-83723 Series 9602 hermetic square flange receptacle connector engineered for severe aerospace, military, and space applications. The connector features a nickel-plated steel shell with glass-to-metal compression sealing (compressed at over 1000°C) and silicone elastomer interfacial seals, providing reliable air- and gas-tight connections. It accommodates Size 20 contacts with solder-type termination, nickel-iron alloy contact material, and gold plating, delivering a maximum current rating of 5A per contact. The connector operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C and withstands 1500 V at sea level (50 Hz, R.M.S.), with reduced voltage ratings at altitude. Its double keying system and visual locking mechanism prevent cross-connection and accidental unmatting, making it ideal for critical actuation, air data systems, and other demanding aerospace applications requiring hermetic integrity and high reliability.
