DESCRIPTION

D38999/32Z9R is a plug dust cap designed for MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors, offering environmental protection and impurity sealing at the connector interface when unmated. The product features an aluminum alloy base material with Black Zinc Nickel (Z) finish, providing conductive properties and corrosion resistance with 500 hours salt spray rating. It operates across a temperature range of -65°C to 175°C and is RoHS compliant. The dust cap is available in multiple shell sizes (9 through 25) and can be ordered with stainless steel rope and ring attachment, stainless steel rope only, or as a cover-only configuration. This accessory is commonly used in aerospace and harsh environment applications where connector protection during storage and non-use is critical.
