DESCRIPTION

The 983-15KV7-12-12S6L is a sealed plug connector with integral accessory from the DEUTSCH 983 Series, designed for extreme reliability in harsh aerospace, defense, and marine environments. This Size 12 connector features a shell size of 12 mm and is rated for 15,000 Vrms at 15,000 meters altitude and 1,000 Vrms at 50 Hz for mated connections. The connector incorporates female contacts (S designation) with key orientation position 6, and is supplied without contacts (L designation). It meets stringent aerospace standards including EN2997 and ESC10 specifications, providing sealed protection and high-voltage isolation for critical applications. The connector is ideal for high-altitude aircraft systems, military equipment, and marine platforms where electrical isolation and environmental sealing are essential.
