DESCRIPTION

The WB-51SAL is a left-side wedgelock accessory designed for use with DEUTSCH DRB series 102-way plug connectors. This secondary wedgelock component confirms proper contact alignment and provides keying options (A, B, C, or D) within the connector interface. The wedgelock is assembled at the mating interface and clicks into place to secure the connector halves. It operates across the full temperature range of -40°C to +125°C for gold-plated contacts or -40°C to +105°C for tin-plated contacts, with a rated voltage of 250 volts AC and current capacity of 7 amps (gold) or up to 8 amps (tin). The wedgelock maintains insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum and withstands physical shock of 50 g half-sine pulses, random vibration of 10 g across 10–500 Hz, and 10 mating/unmating cycles. This component is essential for ensuring reliable mating and alignment in industrial and commercial transportation applications requiring secure, environmentally sealed electrical connections.
