DESCRIPTION

The DT04-3P-EP10 is a 3-pin in-line receptacle connector designed for SAE J1939/11 Controller Area Network (CAN) applications in industrial and commercial transportation systems. This connector accommodates CAN_HI, CAN_LO, and shield wires with a molded-in 120O terminating resistor rated at 0.4 W minimum, and includes a J1939-keyed wedgelock in black for secure mating and mis-mating prevention. The receptacle features gold-plated size 16 contacts (solid or stamped & formed options available) and is compatible with DT06-3S plug variants. It is commonly used as a network terminating connector in J1939 serial data communication systems linking Electronic Control Units (ECUs) in vehicles and heavy equipment, providing reliable environmental sealing and electrical performance in demanding automotive and industrial environments.
