DESCRIPTION

The 3EF8 is a compact single-stage EMI power inlet filter designed for electromagnetic interference suppression in power entry applications. It features an IEC 60320-1 C14 inlet with a two-element circuit that provides basic attenuation of conducted EMI, and includes wire leads (4.0 inches minimum, 18 AWG, UL1015) for back-mounted installation. The filter is rated for 3A at 250 VAC maximum operating voltage with 50/60 Hz frequency, and operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +40°C. It is UL recognized, CSA certified, and VDE approved, with a maximum leakage current of 0.21 mA at 120 VAC 60 Hz and 0.36 mA at 250 VAC 50 Hz. The 3EF8 is commonly used in power distribution equipment, industrial control systems, and consumer electronics where EMI filtering and safety compliance are required.
