DESCRIPTION

The 6609041-3 is a W Series multipurpose power line RFI filter designed to protect equipment from conducted interference and suppress emissions. It is rated for a current of 6A at a maximum voltage of 250VAC and operates at a frequency of 50/60 Hz. This two-stage filter provides an N=4 ("Dbl. L") line-to-ground impedance and an N=5 ("Dbl. Pi") line-to-line impedance, delivering excellent suppression at high frequencies. Key electrical characteristics include a maximum leakage current of 0.5 mA at 120VAC and a hipot rating of 2250 VDC from line-to-ground. The W Series is specifically designed for use when equipment impedance at RF frequencies is high, making it effective for controlling emissions in equipment with SCR and T2L circuits to meet FCC and EN standards.
