DESCRIPTION

The JMACD-5XMS is a 5V DC electromagnetic relay designed for reliable switching in communications and instrumentation applications. The relay features a coil resistance of 50 ohms ±10% at 25°C with a nominal operating voltage of 5.0 VDC, requiring a minimum of 2.7 VDC to operate and releasing at a maximum of 1.4 VDC. It provides contact ratings up to 1A at 28 VDC for resistive loads with 100,000 operations rated, and exhibits fast response characteristics with a maximum operate time of 2 ms, release time of 4 ms, and contact stabilization time of 2.0 ms. The relay is engineered for harsh environments, withstanding vibration from 10 cps to 3000 cps at 30 g's, shock loads of 75 g's at 6 ms duration, and operating temperatures from -65°C to +125°C. This makes it ideal for telecommunications equipment, industrial control systems, and test instrumentation where reliable, fast switching and environmental robustness are essential.
