DESCRIPTION

The 928947-2 is an AMP FASTIN-FASTON multi-position flat-tab connector featuring Type D configuration with insulation support and a locking hole. It is designed for wire insulation ranges of 2.7–3.7 mm² and accommodates conductor sizes from 1.0–2.5 mm (letter-equivalent type size). The connector features a 0.5 mm stock thickness, 0.8 mm diameter contact pin, and silver-plated brass construction for enhanced corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. With dimensions of 6.35 mm width, 27.97 mm length, and 15.75 mm height, this connector is suitable for compact multi-pole applications in automotive, industrial control, and telecommunications equipment where reliable flat-tab connections are required.
